As it is said, Humans are social beings, we love to meet people, share out emotions and feelings, celebrating happiness and sorrow together with our friends and family. But, In today’s world where technology has provided with many facilities and converted the whole world into a village, We have become much alone as compared to older days. Always being busy in tech gadgets and having no time spend in solitude (being with ourselves) and with friends and family.
What we have lost?
1. Love and Support
We’ve lost the love and support that we used to get from the society in earlier days. So called social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram have created an era where people are just showing — MY LIFE IS BETTER THAN YOURS and people are living two lives – one on the social media and other in real world.
2. Clarity of life
We today know a lot about the whole world but know nothing about ourselves, If we just sit by ourselves for 10 minutes without any book, phone or gadget, thoughtless we start feeling frustrated.
3. Lack of Patience
We want everything to be quick in our life, just lie 2-minute noodles, overnight success and get rich quick schemes. Especially in today’s youth, we just want to Show the World our nice shoes, cars, expensive clothes rather than dedicating our life towards something worthwhile. Remember —
4. People realizing the Importance of life on deathbed.
Running away from mortality and chasing worthless goals and being trapped in the Rattrap where the luxuries are the cheese for us,
If our life’s goal is just food, sleep and sex; then we’re not more than an animal.
A Wise man
5. Social media addiction
One of the biggest challenges that today’s youth facing is how to save our time from these time consuming social media apps and dedicate our time towards something worthwhile.
What could be done?
1. Spending quality time with our family and friends
We should take out some time for people we love and care about and discuss with them about their life and helping the people who need our support and creating a beautiful world.
2. Knowing yourself
Knowing ourselves is much harder than knowing what’s happening in the world, we must take out time to do Meditation and Yoga.
3. Define your life’s purpose
Everyone should define their own purpose of life and spend our time on something that really matters to us and thinking how can we make this world a better place not only for humans but for every creature.
4. Learn to use Social media and technology
We should develop our habits in such a way that we use technology for our benefits and knowledge rather than they’re exploiting us by developing rituals and using time blocking.
5. Develop NO T.V./ phone rituals
Today we’re watching T.V. or videos on phone while eating on the dinner table with our family, rather than discussing with them about their day, this needs to be changed KEEP YOUR PHONE ASIDE ON THE DINNER TABLE.
Ensure that children must spend time with Grandparents rather than watching cartoons.

Yeah.. Agree with all the points mentioned above, and i think we’re getting depended on Technology day by day. Even if today kids have to write a single page of essay they directly go to google, search for it and just start writing.. Opps! I mean start copying. this all decreasing our thinking capabilities….. As mentioned .. We have to Learn to use Social media and technology whenever actually need.
Hey! Found your post really heat warming, I’ll remind your points while being with my family.
